Extension Council Elections
The local Extension program is guided by the Extension Council comprised of Program Development Committees (PDC). To qualify for election to the council, a candidate must be a resident of Leavenworth County and at least 18 years of age. A position description can be found here. Candidates will need to complete this Consent to Nominate form and return it to the Extension Office. More information is available in the fact sheet Serving as a Committee Member.

This program will provide an overview of current food preservation practices, recommended resources and showcase the proper equipment for use.
